My service region includes California, Arizona, Oregon and Nevada. If you live in one of those states, I will come to your ranch for all your ultrasound needs.
I try to set my scanning schedule well in advance. So please keep that in mind if you're having an auction and need the results for your catalog. I try an accommodate every breeder and will work to your schedule, so please plan ahead and allow me a few weeks notice. And remember, weekends always get booked up first.
Know your scanning window. Animals must be scanned in a prescribed age set by the U.G.C. Double check your animals and your breed to make sure they fall within the limit before hand. For an all breeds age chart, go

How To Schedule A Ranch Call
Animals must be weighed within 7 days of scanning. Weights can be taken on scan day before or after the scanning process is complete.
Animals are scanned on the right side of the chute and if your work area is not covered, tarps work great to guard against the sun. I always pack tarps with me but please have some standard t-posts on hand incase we need them.
A safe 110 volt outlet with a clean signal is required. If that is not possible, a gas generator will work just fine.
Breeders must provide completed barn sheets on scan day. Please let me know if you need help getting them.
It is the Breeders responsibility to work the cattle in and out of the chute. Extra hands should be on board incase help is needed.
Any shots or other items that need to be done to the cattle while in the chute can be done after the scanning process is complete. Cattle need to be as calm as possible while being scanned so semen testing, shots, ear tags or other procedures can be done once the ultrasound images are taken.
